You can continue earning and redeeming points in the current Societea Rewards app until March 24, 2025.

To ensure a smooth transition to our updated loyalty program and new app, March 25, 2025 will be a blackout period, during which you won’t be able to earn or redeem points or use vouchers either in-store or through Chatime Online Ordering. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to provide you with an even better rewards experience!

You’ll earn 100 points for every $1 spent at participating Chatime and Bake Code locations. Once you reach 1,250 points, a $1 reward is automatically added to your Rewards Balance—ready to use whenever you like!

Your progress points (toward unlocking rewards) expire 180 days from the date you earned them. However, once you’ve unlocked a reward, it’s yours to keep for as long as you like! Progress points also count toward your Points Earned This Year, which determines your status level. These annual points reset to 0 on December 31 each year.

Nope! If you already have the Societea App on your phone, you just need to update it through the App Store or Google Play—no need to download a new one.

Yes! Your rewards balance and vouchers will transfer to your new Societea account. After updating the app, you’ll be prompted to sign-up for a new account and to migrate your balance—just follow the instructions and make sure to use the same email address associated with your existing account to ensure a smooth transfer.

No, the old app will no longer function. You must migrate to the new Societea Rewards app to keep your profile and points.

Earning points is easy! Just shop at participating Chatime and Bake Code locations in Ontario and British Columbia and choose one of these two ways to collect points:

1. Scan your membership QR code at checkout.
2. Scan the barcode on your receipt within 5 days of purchase.

Yes, of course! Points can be earned on qualified purchases from web, mobile, kiosk ordering and in-store! Points cannot be earned on purchases made through 3rd party market places however (Uber Eats, Doordash, Skip the Dishes).

To receive your birthday perks, simply become a Societea Rewards member and make a qualifying loyalty purchase (on food and/or drinks) before your birthday. Your special birthday reward will appear as a coupon under the “My Offers” section in your app and will be valid for 7 days. 🎉✨

You can redeem your rewards balance on food, drinks, merchandise, or anything that can be purchased at any Chatime or Bake Code locations in Ontario and British Columbia.

There are 3 levels that can be unlocked, each step-up gives you more perks (and bragging rights)! The levels are Silver, Gold, Platinum! Everyone starts in Silver level!

Unlock a level by earning a qualifying number of points! The Societea level earning period begins on January 1 of each calendar year and ends on December 31 of the same year. Your perks start as soon as you successfully unlock a level, and will last until the end of the following calendar year.

Here are the points you need to earn to unlock each level*:
Silver: no minimum required, all our members start in silver!
Gold: 15,000 annual points
Platinum: 40,000 annual points

*If you do not earn enough to maintain your level during the earning period of Jan 1 – Dec 31 each year, your level will expire!

No, Societea Rewards does not offer physical cards. Instead, you can access your unique QR code within the Societea Rewards app to earn and redeem points.

Unfortunately, no. All new account registrations must be completed through the Societea Rewards app.

It’s easy! As long as you earn or redeem points, your account stays active. However, if there is no activity for 24 consecutive months, your account will be considered inactive.

You can add any physical gift cards to your Socetea Rewards account by going to the Gift Card section within the app, tap “Add Existing Physical Gift Card” and enter the gift card number and pin code!

Your gift card will appear in the mobile app after linking. Multiple gift cards can be added to your account.

Yes! The same card can be linked to multiple accounts. Each time you use the card, the balance will automatically update to reflect the correct amount remaining. 😊
